Just finished a fantastic run of On The Town! I was one of 5 freshman to get casted in a main-stage in college, pretty awesome right?
Well I’m going to sleep for the first time since school started!

With one week of college life complete and so many more to go, I am already so proud of everything that I have accomplished. I can feel the pounds dropping, the confidence rising, and now I am 1 of like 4 freshman who made the musical. It maybe ensemble, but the faculty is noticing everything I do and are very happy with what I produce. I may loose my chance of having an awesomely badass DC life, but the opportunity to become one of the bests in my craft is something I would never give up. I know that it is going to be worth the 6 day a week rehearsals accompanied by late late late night studying for those crazy english, philosophy, and tedious arts classes, and lack of sleep. I may not get that chance with a love fling, but my true will all always be Musical Theatre. Everything is worth the sacrifices.
I guess in conclusion college is the best thing for me. I am learning, making new friends, finding crushes, and trying to stay true to myself, which can be very difficult in a setting where temptation is all around. I know even more in my heart this is the path God wanted me to take and to tell you the truth this really long hill has some really pretty scenery.

Classes start in less than 24 hours. I am so freaking excited and I have been singing all night long so that I am more than prepared I have like 2 and a half songs currently ready for them!!! I better work! I promise my self that I will be amazing by the end of the year!!!
Alright, its night number 2 here in college. So far I’m loving it. Its strange, but this is def the place for me. You know how I tend to be an outgoing person who can make friends with a dead parrot, here I’m freezing up. But at the same time I am not. I think I realize who I am more comfortable in front of and can shine with those people. You know make them laugh and honestly be who I am. But its not people who I would think I would be friends with. I don’t truly know it is only the 2 day.
My roommate is someone I can def live with. I don’t for see any major conflicts happening, which is AWESOME! My suite mates seem chill. I adore one in particular, she really gels with me and the roomie. Lets hope nothing terrible happens with these 3 people, I’m kinda of stuck with them :)
Well its late and these paper thin walls, that allow me to here to chick with all the boys next door, will barely help with the sleeping in a new environment. You know thought, it is all worth it.
